Began as a base level sales representative in Lexington, KY. Climbed my way up to Assistant Manager by the end of the summer through my hard and continuous work with the team. Sold over $35,000 in product for the company over the summer, with a customer base over 100 people, and a closing rate above 85%.
Because I was the top performing sales rep for the summer, I was offered the position of Branch Manager in Owensboro, KY. Received training for this position while in school, and began my management position the following summer. Handled everything from negotiating and paying the office lease, to interviewing 200+ applicants, to hiring and training 60+ team members. Finished the summer as the number two branch office in our three state division, with my team selling over $35,000 in product.
Supported in the distribution of phone books to a multiple county region that included the Kentucky cities of Lexington, Nicholasville, and Versailles.

My group and I worked with a local company as our project 'sponsor' to develop an Android application based on specifications they communicated to us. The app was designed as a solution to many of the frustrations campus tailgaters face on game-days. Some of the problems this app solved include: communicating where a tailgate is, who will be there, what supplies everyone should bring, as well as available parking on campus with pricing, and finding your car after the game. I worked with a group of three other peers in my college to develop this with formal documentation, team meetings, and meetings with the sponsor throughout the semester.
